BASE TORRES
We will leave from Puerto Natales towards the north, heading to the Torres del Paine National Park. After 2 hours of travel, we will arrive at Estancia Torres del Paine, the starting point of our walk. After a previous talk from our guide, we will begin to walk along the path towards an old bridge that crosses the Asencio River. After 1-2 hour of walking, we will arrive at Camping El Chileno, in the shadow of a spectacular lenga forest, crossing several slopes that fall from Mount Almirante Nieto.
After a brief stop, we will continue our way to the next viewpoint, at 700 m altitude. From here, the trail increases its slope. 2 to 3 hours later, we will reach the Las Torres Base at the eastern end of the lagoon, from where we will have a spectacular view of the three towers (Central, Monzino and Dagostini) and the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills, if cloudy conditions occur. they allow it. With this view, we will have time to rest. We will return along the same path, until we reach the starting point, from where we will take the vehicle that will take us back to Puerto Natales.
